The Executive Board of TMAA is pleased to announce the Dr. Jay Dunnahoo Memorial TMAA Scholarship Program available for TMAA active or provisional members. This is a one-time award up to the amount of $1000.00 and can be used by the recipient to attend a symposium, workshop, conducting clinic, summer master class, etc. during the summer of 2026 or to pursue an advanced degree in music for coursework completed from August 2025 - August 2026. You must have been a TMAA member during the time period the coursework was completed. This award cannot be used for TMAA workshops or conventions. This project calls for awarding up to ten scholarships for the summer of 2026.

Applications will be accepted starting March 15, 2026 and the deadline for applications to be received by the TMAA Office is April 15, 2026.

Prior to submitting a scholarship application, please make sure you plan to attend the event/activity listed on your application. For several years, we have had members change their mind and not use an awarded scholarship that could have been given to another applicant.

You will then scan the PDF, along with supporting documentation, into ONE (1) file and email the single file to info@txmaa.org. Please label the file with your first and last name (Ex.
